What we’re about
I find myself coming to Belgrade for 3 months every year. Being no stranger to organizing social drinking get togethers, here is a little informal group with get togethers with the following sensibilities. I apologize for not being able to speak Serbian yet, but I am sure we will have some others coming who do, so please don't think this is an English only group.
Please read through the style below to make sure it's your vibe and that you will enjoy it.
- My events usually cater to those who drink alcohol. I'm not saying I/we will get shitfaced every time, but this is a drinking group. If you don't drink or a friend of yours doesn't and wants to come, sure. But I define this group as a drinking group, so please be in line with the spirit of hanging out with drunks.
- There will be nothing fancy about this group, in fact I am thinking we'll just get together in a park and drink. Everyone just brings what they drink etc. However we might end up hitting up some cheap bars afterwards, or for some of the events. But they will NOT be fancy bars. Down to earth is the mandate.
- I usually bring music, but it will not be anything made after 1989! The genre or country its from is not as important as it being made before 1989! If you have some gems to share, I would love to hear it.
- I travel a few times a year, and when not in Belgrade I will change the location of the group to the city I am in. So I am hoping for this to become a little bit of a tiny international social club!
