Happy Hour & Friends is a social meetup group for people in the Inland Empire / 909 area looking to get out, meet new people, and make real connections.
Whether you’re winding down after work, trying a new local spot, checking out community events, or just looking for something fun to do, this group is for you.
Some events may be happy hours, but not every meetup will revolve around drinks 😄
Think coffee meetups, casual hangs, local events, dinners, game nights, and whatever sounds fun.

Morning Hike to Top of the Notch (Mt Baldy)
Top of the Notch Restaurant, 7926 Mt Baldy Rd, Mount Baldy, ca, USLet's hike to Top of the Notch, a ski lodge cafe in the Angeles National Forest. Lunch service doesn't begin until 11 AM, but they may be selling snacks/drinks before then.
The hike is moderately difficult, but the view from the top is a stunning reward! It's 3.3 miles to the top with 1,610' elevation gain (6.6 miles total). You can see the full details of the route on AllTrails.
We'll get an early start to beat the heat. We'll meet at the ampm on Foothill and Claremont at 7:30 AM. You can purchase an adventure pass ($5) there, which is required to park in the Angeles National Forest. Here is a full list of vendors if you prefer to purchase the pass elsewhere. Parking can be tough on weekends, so we can carpool from ampm.
If you don't meet us at ampm, we'll be starting the hike at 8:15 at the Mt Baldy Trailhead (it's about a 30 minute drive from ampm). There is no cell phone reception once you enter the forest.
Make sure to bring water (you can refill at the top) and sunscreen / sun protection.
