HCPG Beginner Workshop Session Three: Adobe Lightroom Post-processing
Details
Join HCPG for our final session of the summer with Ray talking to us about post-processing through Adobe Lightroom.
This session will be mainly a workshop with little to no slides. Ray will have LR Classic screen shared on our ZOOM session and students will follow along with their computers using Lightroom Classic. Other versions will not be discussed to keep it simple.
Ray will post files in a Google drive for students to download and use during the session.
We will be going over the BASICS (top level knowledge) of the following:
- Importing/Cataloging/Culling images into LR Classic
- Using the Develop Section to make adjustments
- Overview of the Histogram, Profile, Adjustment tools, Cropping tool, Eraser tools, and basic masking tools
- Basic exporting images
Intent is for students to walk away with at least the basic understanding of the main tools of LR Classic so they can improve their images immediately and play with the tools on their own to learn more.
**Prerequisite: Must have LR Classic (not CC or Mobile) installed and opened along with the sample files downloaded to follow along. For those who do not have LR Classic, they can still listen and watch to learn about the tools until you get LR Classic later.
