About us
The Harm Reduction Skillshare is a space for connection, curiosity, and care. Our goal is to learn together, support one another, and build a culture where health and safety are possible for everyone. As a group, we aim to:
- Explore the science and practice of safer drug use in an accessible, human way
- Encourage compassionate, evidence-based drug policies that honor people’s dignity
- Create community among people who use drugs, the people who love them, and those who support them
- Nurture a shared commitment to reducing harm and increasing care
You don’t need to be an expert. Lived experience, thoughtful questions, and an open heart are all welcome here. Join us if you're:
- A harm reduction community member
- A mental health, healthcare, or social service professional
- Someone who uses drugs, cares about someone who does, or is curious to learn more
We meet weekly for discussion-based gatherings that emphasize learning with one another, not at one another. Our time together includes:
- Gentle, thoughtful conversations about safer drug use and drug policy
- Sharing lived and living experience alongside practical knowledge and skills
- Building relationships, insight, and mutual support in a nonjudgmental space
