This is a weekly Spanish–English language exchange in the greater Harrisburg area for people who want to actually use the language, not study it.

The group is for native English and native Spanish speakers who want regular, low-pressure conversation and cultural exchange. There’s no teaching, no curriculum, and no expectation to be “good.” You speak at your level, listen a lot, and get better naturally over time.

We meet consistently, in places that make conversation easy; restaurants, cafés, or anywhere we can sit and talk comfortably. We also plan cultural meetups like dancing, museums, and local festivals, where language happens organically instead of feeling forced.

Most language learners don’t have anyone to practice with, feel awkward speaking one-on-one, or want a reason to keep using the language week after week. This group solves that simply by showing up regularly with the same intention.

If you want steady practice, interesting people, and an environment that doesn’t feel like a class, you’ll fit right in. Bring friends who’d enjoy the same thing.

Este es un intercambio semanal de idiomas español–inglés en el área metropolitana de Harrisburg para personas que quieren usar el idioma de verdad, no estudiarlo.

El grupo está dirigido a hablantes nativos de inglés y de español que buscan conversación regular, sin presión, y un intercambio cultural auténtico. No hay clases, no hay programa, ni expectativas de “hablar bien”. Cada persona habla a su nivel, escucha mucho y mejora de forma natural con el tiempo.

Nos reunimos de manera constante en lugares que facilitan la conversación: restaurantes, cafés o cualquier espacio donde podamos sentarnos y hablar con tranquilidad. También organizamos encuentros culturales como baile, museos y festivales locales, donde el idioma surge de forma natural en lugar de sentirse forzado.

Muchos estudiantes de idiomas no tienen con quién practicar, se sienten incómodos hablando uno a uno o necesitan un motivo para seguir usando el idioma semana tras semana. Este grupo resuelve eso simplemente reuniéndose con regularidad y con la misma intención.
