HATs 2018 Big Bend NP Sunday Hikes

The hike is on the first day of daylight savings time. Sunrise will be at 8:06 AM CDT. So the time to leave camp may be delayed a bit if we need more daylight time to get organized.

If you are not camping with us, meet us at the Sam Nail Ranch trail around 8:30AM or figure out something with Tom.

The day will have a number of shorter hikes to various desert trails on the west side of the Chisos Mountains. When we're tired of the desert, we will finish the hikes in the Santa Elena Canyon on the banks of the Rio Grande. Then head to Terlingua to see the ghost town and the make use of the modern towns conveniences.
