Urban Hike: Mount Sutro + Twin Peaks + Burgers at Barney’s

Join us for a scenic urban hike through two of San Francisco’s green gems: Mount Sutro Open Space Reserve and Twin Peaks Park. We’ll explore lush forest trails, take in sweeping views of the city, and enjoy a solid workout along the way.

Some highlights and things to note:

• Shaded trails through Mount Sutro’s eucalyptus forest
• A climb through Twin Peaks Park for iconic city views
• A casual finish at Barney’s Gourmet Hamburgers (4138 24th Street), where we’ll grab food and relax together
• Coffee/pastries from Arizmendi (starting point)
• There shouldn't be any restrooms along the way, so plan accordingly

What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water, and a layer for wind
Difficulty: Moderate (some incline, stairs, and uneven dirt paths)
Distance: ~4–5 miles total
