Exploring Tiburon

Join us for a fun afternoon adventure across the bay as we explore the picturesque town of Tiburon, California!

We’ll meet at the San Francisco Ferry Building and catch the 12:15 PM ferry to Tiburon. Please plan to arrive by 11:45 AM to link up with the group. We'll wait for any late arrivals until 12:00 PM before we begin boarding. Try not to miss the boat — the ferry departs promptly and doesn’t wait.

Once we arrive in Tiburon, we’ll grab a quick to-go snack or meal at Caffē Acri, a cozy local spot by the waterfront. From there, we’ll take a relaxed stroll through town and explore some of Tiburon’s scenic highlights, including Belvedere Lagoon, Old St. Hilary’s Preserve, and other local sights which offer beautiful bay views and photo-worthy spots.

We’ll wrap up the day by catching the 5:15 PM ferry from Tiburon back to San Francisco.

Schedule:

• 11:45 AM — Meet on the pier-side of Hog Island Oyster Co. in the Ferry Building (be on time and make sure you have money on your Clipper card!)
• 12:15 PM — Ferry departs for Tiburon (ferry hours can be found here: https://www.goldengate.org/ferry/route-schedule/tiburon-san-francisco/)
• 12:45 PM — Arrive in Tiburon, grab snacks at Caffē Acri
• 1:30–4:30 PM — Explore Belvedere Lagoon, Old St. Hilary’s Preserve, and other spots in town
• 5:15 PM — Ferry departs from Tiburon to SF (last ferry, so we'll make sure we're on time!)
• 5:45pm — Arrive in San Francisco
