Join us for a fun day of improv games!

This is a free, beginner-friendly jam session (not a formal class). All games will be explained and led by our awesome host Talia (volunteering out of sheer love and passion for improv), nobody is forced to participate but highly encouraged to jump in and play.

What to expect:

  • Improv - short for improvisational theater - is a form of live performance where characters, dialogue, and scenes are created in the moment.
  • We’ll have a mix of warm-up games, learn about character development, physical comedy, and storytelling.
  • Depending on audience participation, we’re planning about an 1.5-2 hour session.

Where and when:

  • Sunday, March 29th - meeting at 1:00pm, games start at 1:15pm.
  • Patricia’s Green In Hayes Valley Park https://maps.app.goo.gl/UCTjdUpgk16QUeXH6
  • We’re planning to use the space in the center as our “stage”.

If you’re still reading (whoo whoo), here is a Wiki rabbit hole about improv:

Lastly, please update your RSVP if you realize you won't be able to make it (preferably by Friday evening on that weekend), as this really helps with planning!
