Having Fun with Girlfriends in El Dorado County

This is a cute gold rush town with stores and restaurants. I need to get more information on other activities to add to the day. It's about an hour and 10 minute drive from our area. Meandering along the main street is fun and there are some good restaurants for lunch. We can carpool from here, of course. If anyone has a favorite thing to do in Nevada City besides the main town, please post it on here.

Several of you have enjoyed our Friday evening game nights so I'm scheduling the June one for the 21st. We'll have this at my house. Depending upon how many want to come, we can do Blank Slate, Rack-0, canasta, Clue, etc. I have a lot of board games and we know card games. Holly taught Karen and I Swish which was really fun. So many choices. Bring a small snack to share and your beverage of choice. Enjoy the company of friends and engage in a game. If for some reason, we don't get 8 members to sign up, I'll open it to guests later. For new members, I have to ask you not to bring any nuts or nut products--I'm highly allergic even to the smell of peanuts.

Kathy belongs to this winery and she is hosting this event. It's actually from 5:30-8:00 p.m. but Meet Up will only allow me to post 2 or 3 hours, not 2 1/2! Let's get together and listen to music. There will be pizza for food and, for those who wish, wine to drink. I'm sure they'll have water and other beverages. We can carpool there.
