Bishop Pumpkin Farm trip to welcome fall

Details

This will be my third year going to the Bishop Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland. The farm is free to enter. There are activities, such as the hay ride, buying sunflowers, the train and a couple others that require tickets. The tickets cost $1.25 each. As an example, the sunflower field is free in which to take a walk, but cutting and bringing home a large sunflower, cost 2 tickets. There is a hay ride, a train to go through the pumpkin field, the sunflower field walk, eating venues, a bakery and a cool gift store. You can bring a picnic lunch or buy lunch from one of their venues—different foods . We can leave early to arrive around 10:15. It should be a fairly cool temperature in October. We can carpool from here to Wheatland. There are so many varieties and sizes of pumpkins, you’ll want to take one, or more, home for fall decoration or eating.
