Christmas Party!

After much investigation and checking out venues for our Meet Up Christmas party, we have the date and place. Jan reached out to someone in Greenstone where she lives and we can use their barn for our party. Please mark your calendar. Please RSVP so I get an idea of the number even though it’s 3 months ahead. No rent or insurance payment is necessary! Yeah! For the party, I’ll give you an idea closer to the time about what you can bring for food—no meal; just snacks. I’ll get together a fun game and we’ll do a gift exchange. You might be finding something in the near future so I’ll give you the parameters. The gift should be new, not re-gifted, and be around the amount of $20-$25. We’ll do the number thing and allow some “stealing.” I’ll be giving you the exact address of the barn closer to the date. If you aren’t familiar with Greenstone, it has a Placerville address but is much closer to Rescue/Shingle Springs. There will also be given a gate code to enter . I’m very thankful to Jan for finding the good place and to all of you who responded to me and to those who gave me ideas. Jan put down a deposit which will be given back if we keep the area clean. She was given a list of clean up chores, so if we all pitch in, that shouldn’t take much time at all.
