Let’s try this walk again and hope there is no rain or snow! This is a flat walk near the lake and then a little climb to the waterfall. I put down 10 am as the time for us to meet there to start the walk. This won’t be Earth Day so we will have to pay to enter the park. The fee is by carloads, not individuals. I think it’s $11 for a carload of seniors. We could meet at the Safeway parking lot in Pollock Pines and fill up cars there. The entrance fee can be split among those in the cars. I can give directions to those who would rather drive their cars to the parking area where the trail will begin. It’ll probably be a nice day to have a picnic at the tables where we park. Just as a reminder with the gas prices what they are—if you are not driving (further than the Safeway), please give the driver $3 towards gas. I hope many of you can join as it’s a lovely walk all in a shaded area. We can form carpools from the EDH, Cameron Park and Placerville areas. After I see who signs up, I’ll suggest carpools and meeting places.
