Day Trip to the Sonoma Botanical Gardens

This is supposed to be a lovely garden to visit. It’s in Glen Ellen, near Sonoma. This would be a drive to Sonoma, lunch at the Swiss Hotel and on to the Botanical Gardens. Then it’ll be a drive home. If there is a lot of traffic, we might want to stop for a quick dinner on the way home. The drive from Rescue to Sonoma is a bit less than 2 hours and it’s 18 minutes further to the gardens. This might entail forming carpools. Drivers should be reimbursed for some of the gas charges from passengers. June is usually has lovely weather in Sonoma County.
