About us

Hays County Front Runners is an LGBTQ+ running and walking group serving Kyle, Buda, San Marcos, Uhland, and the surrounding Hays County community.

Whether you’re an experienced runner, just getting started, or would rather walk and enjoy the company, you’re welcome here. Our goal is simple: create an inclusive space to move, connect, and build community.

We meet for regular runs and walks, with opportunities to stick around afterward for coffee, food, and conversation. All paces and experience levels are welcome.

You don’t have to be LGBTQ+ to join. Friends and allies are welcome too.

Join Hays County Front Runners for our Monday evening run and walk!

We’re an LGBTQ+ running and walking community for Hays County, and everyone is welcome, including allies. Whether you’re an experienced runner, getting back into it, or just want to walk and meet some new people, come join us.

We’ll meet at 6:30 PM, do a quick introduction before heading out, and regroup afterward.

This is a social run, not a race. No pressure and no need to be fast. Our goal is to get moving, meet people, and build a stronger LGBTQ+ community here in Hays County.
