+ Update on the state of Omid2, the Transaction Manager that runs over HBase currently in Apache Incubator by our Ohad Shacham of Yahoo! Research

+ A quick update on the transactional support for HBase tables by Apache Trafodion (incubating) by Shangsheng Tung, Sean Broeder and Narendra Goyal of Esgyn.

+ Accordion: HBase Inmemory Compactions by Anastasia Braginsky of Yahoo! Research

+ Splice Machine updates - columnar storage, in-memory pinning and sketching algorithms by Monte Zweben.
