ONLINE EVENT - Designing Ethical AI

Due to the current regional situation and travel disruption, and with Elizabeth Rosenzweig unable to fly to the UAE, we have decided to postpone the in person event originally planned for March 10 at The Bridge Wellness Hub in Abu Dhabi.

Instead, we will host a special online fireside chat bringing together Elizabeth Rosenzweig, Dr Elizabeth F. Churchill, Jonathan Steingiesser, and Chris Clark to explore the topic of AI ethics and Human Centred Design.

### Dr Elizabeth F. Churchill

Founding Chair of Human Computer Interaction at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) and former Senior Director of User Experience at Google.
Elizabeth is a globally recognized leader in Human Computer Interaction and responsible AI, focusing on how design, technology, and ethics intersect in the development of intelligent systems.

### Jonathan Steingiesser

Founder of the Human Centred Design UAE Meetup and Innovation Services Lead at the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority.
Jonathan has over 22 years of experience in product, service, and strategic design, working across government, startups, and global organizations to apply human centred design to complex systems and public services.

### Chris Clark

Co-organiser of the Human Centred Design UAE Meetup and Experience Design Director with 25+ years of experience leading digital product and UX teams across automotive, consulting, education, and government sectors.

This session will take the form of a fireside style conversation and discussion, with reflections and questions from the community.

Designers, researchers, technologists, academics and students are all welcome.
