Outdoor Portrait Workshop

Ever wanted to learn Environmental portrait technique using both natural and artificial lighting? Join HCPG at a workshop in the lovely Susquehanna State Park.

Agenda:

• Choosing location.
• Best backgrounds.
• Balance ambient with flash.
• Sun to subject placement.
• Flash modifiers.
• Using reflectors.
• Using all ambient light with reflectors and diffusion.

Attendees should bring cameras equipped with a medium zoom (24-70 for a full frame), flash with a remote trigger - don't forget those all important fully charged batteries for camera, flash, and remotes. We will have some triggers and flashes available but since there are so many different camera brands, please try to bring what you have that works with your setup.

Bring cash for entrance fee for park which is not included in price of event. Maryland residents: $2 per vehicle; Out-of-state resident: $4 per vehicle. Carpooling is suggested and you arrange with fellow members.
