“An Introduction to Hands On Still Life Photography."
Still life is the perfect way to master lighting, composition, and storytelling without needing to leave your house or wait for the perfect weather. Whether you shoot with a DSLR or a mirrorless, this workshop will help you see beauty in the mundane.
In this hands-on session, we will cover:
💡 Mastering Light: Using natural light to create mood.
🖼️ Composition Tips: The "rule of odds" and framing.
✨ Styling: Finding props around your home.
What to bring: Your camera (digital or film), medium zoom or macro lens, tripod (there will be some available to use), a flash with a remote (there will be lighting available if needed) and 2-3 small items that inspire you.
This will be the opportunity to learn and practice still life/table top photography. 5 table setups will be made available. Each table will have 3 photographers working on their item one at a time. Some flash and led lighting will be available plus simple reflectors and modifiers.
Spaces are limited to ensure personalized feedback!
