Are you ready to try out something completely different? -- A class that promotes peace and calm, creativity and clarity?
How about a practice that puts you into an altered state of transcendence through slow movement and breath?
Starting April 23rd, I will be offering a 90-minute Sufi class on Zoom every Tuesday morning now starting at 10:30 am San Francisco time. I offer another moving meditation class every Sunday at 8:00 am PDT.
This practice is based on the work of my spiritual teacher of 35 years, Sufi Master Adnan Sarhan.
Sufism is often associated with Islam but is much, much older. Like Buddhism, it comes in many varieties. The variety which I offer was designed to meet the needs of Western students.
It is a generic spiritually devoid of limiting dogma. It focuses on experience not words. Catholics, Jews, Muslim have all been attracted to this work because of its purity. That's one of the meanings of Sufi -- purity. You do not need believe anything. You just try it out and see what happens.
The 90-minute Zoom class I am offering combines slow movement and breathing with carefully selected music to create a deep state of relaxed awareness. Dance, hypnotic chants, and other meditative exercises are also used. The effect is intoxicating, ecstatic, and mind-opening.
To learn more you can listen to my short video HERE or read about the Sufi Foundation HERE.
I could go on . . . but it is much better to experience the work for yourself.

Join us for a transformative event on coping with global loss and communal grief. REGISTER HERE
In today's world, grief is a language we all speak. Whether it's due to the pandemic, war, environmental issues, or social injustices, we're collectively mourning what we've lost. At Healers Connection, we recognize the power of shared grief and the need to come together to cope with it. Join our Good Grief session for support and healing.
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or despondent is normal in the face of widespread sorrow. Just like after 9/11, we're all affected deeply. But there's hope. Together, we can find strength and solace. Our session offers a safe space to explore and process grief, guided by an experienced healer.
Through discussions, activities, and healing practices, we'll learn to cope, recover, and transform pain into resilience. Whether you're dealing with personal loss or global tragedies, our supportive community is here for you. Let's embark on a journey of healing and hope together.
In this class, we'll delve into:
- How global grief differs from personal grief
- Why emotional intelligence is so important
- How community grieving amplifies healing
**Register Here **to get the Zoom link.
Don't miss this opportunity to engage with fellow travelers on your path to healing. Together, we can turn our collective grief into a catalyst for positive change.
Join me on May 24 at 4 pm for an informative dialogue about grief and what you need to know to help the ones you love.
This class will be recorded. It is better to come to the live event.
