Welcome!
Here you will find a series of events in London's Westminster area offering residents the chance to learn skills to improve their quality of life after the pandemic; and facilitating conversations between attendees so everyone can share their experiences, ask questions, and discover how everyone is coping.
You will learn skills on psychological wellbeing, healthy eating, physical movement, and mindfulness.
-> We will be offering outdoor gentle yoga class to improve health and wellbeing, followed by coffee/tea and a group conversation;
-> Classes to reduce anxiety and stress for parents and children in a post-covid world;
-> Group discussions for exchanging experiences and coping strategies related to health, lockdown, vaccination, anxiety, conditions developed post-covid, and related topics.

I am a Hypnotherapist & Yoga Teacher working in the Mayfair area. I combine elements of hypnosis to Yoga to create a calming and effective session.
Each week I will focus on a theme and will start with Anxiety.If you are looking for a healthy and natural way of reducing stress and improve mental clarity with physical movement, here is your ticket.
This class is FREE to attend - but if you RSVP and do not turn up without updating your RSVP then you will be removed from the group.

Sunday evening can be a good time to get together for calm and companionship.
I'd like to invite you all to join me so I can guide and teach you a technique called Focussing.Eugene Gendlin's Focussing is a type of therapy that involves paying attention to the bodily sensations and emotions associated with a particular issue or problem - however, in here we do not disclose any personal information at all, and it still works!
This practice helps relieve stress and anxiety as you bring your attention to the here-and-now, it is a type of mindfulness, but more powerful and easier to achieve.
Focusing involves a six-step process that includes the following:
- Clearing a space: This step involves setting aside some time and creating a quiet space to focus on the issue or problem at hand
- Felt sense: The next step involves paying attention to the bodily sensations associated with the issue. This could include feelings of tension, tightness, or discomfort.
- Finding a handle: The third step involves identifying a word, phrase, or image that captures the essence of the issue or problem.
- Resonating: This step involves holding the felt sense and handle together in your mind and allowing them to resonate with one another.
- Asking: The fifth step involves asking open-ended questions to explore the felt sense and gain deeper insight into the issue.
- Receiving: The final step involves acknowledging and accepting any insights or shifts in perspective that arise during the focusing process.
In reality, we have only been doing steps 1 and 2 in this workshop, as Focusing takes practice.
The idea is that as members come again, we become more experienced and then can move through the stages with advanced sessions.For example, once you've done steps 1 to 2 a few times, this becomes much easier and then we can then move on to other steps. If we move too soon, it won't make any sense.
I will be your guide in this group session and will be available for questions.
