Let's get social and send all proceeds to a good cause!

Your optional $10 contribution goes entirely to Rhonda's campaign. For more options, please donate here (http://www.medstartr.com/projects/118-i-t-h-r-i-v-e-a-breast-cancer-journey-partner).

Welcome to our first ever Health 2.0 Happy Hour, a social event for our community. Technically it is free of charge, but if you want to contribute, it will go to helping Rhonda's mission.

If you arrive in the first hour, then your first glass is on H2NYC!

Why Help Rhonda?

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/a/7/0/event_228902672.jpegRhonda Smith is an amazing entrepreneur, breast cancer survivor, and the creator of Breast Cancer Partner (BCP), that delivers health and wellness education programs for women diagnosed with breast cancer.

The goal of BCP is to empower women with the knowledge and tools to care for themselves and build a community of care that lends strength to over 200,000 newly diagnosed women every year.

Rhonda is over 50% of the way to her fund raising goal for her next version and could use your help. Donate here on H2NYC or over on MedStartr (http://www.medstartr.com/projects/118-i-t-h-r-i-v-e-a-breast-cancer-journey-partner) and come out and be social with us.

About the Venue

Boulton and Watt were the inventors who perfected the steam engine, among other things. The Bar & Grill they inspired is in the East Village and was started by a pair of engineers from Rensselaer and embodies the Health 2.0 spirit. It doesn't hurt that Happy Hour starts at 5 and goes until 7 either!

See You There!

Alex, Megan, Donna, Jack, Sonali, and the H2NYC Leadership team

p.s. Did you know that MedStartr.com (http://www.medstartr.com) grew out of our first Happy Hour? The #Healthcare #Gameification #Flashmob (http://www.health20nyc.com/photos/6393252/#98065332) we threw when Thor Ernstson (ex-Zynga, ex-Audax/CareVerge, now Founder of CasualCorp (http://www.casualcorp.com)) was considering moving to New York? Quite a productive evening that is now legendary.

Will that happen again? Probably, hundreds of businesses are started or aided by H2NYC events and we are happy to be a forum for such activities.
