NYC is becoming the healthcare startup capital of the world. But don't ask me, I am biased, just look at the number of healthcare seed and growth investment companies and opportunities here!

Why choose to work with an incubator?

One word: DrChrono. Check out what happened to our friends Mike and Daniel (http://twitter.com/#!/danielkivatinos) and their creation DrChrono (http://blog.drchrono.com/) since they went through the Y-Combinator program: 5,000+ users, $675,000 in funding, articles in Wired (http://www.wired.com/magazine/2011/05/ff_ycombinator/all/1) and TechCrunch (http://techcrunch.com/search/drchrono). If you don't want to move to California, then attend this event and see what opportunities are sprouting up right here!

...and Now in New York!

There is no better time to start a healthcare company in NYC than now! Startup Health, Blueprinthealth, and the Health 2.0 Challenge are all brand new and NYC based. Health 2.0 has also designated JL Neptune, MD and founder of Healogica, to manage their challenge program right here in NYC. All three will present the criteria for inclusion, their challenges, and goals at this event. We also will highlight Rock Health and NYAS opportunities.

So in essence this is a Reverse Pitch event, where the startup incubators and funds tell us what they are looking for and encourage entrepreneurs to apply.
