Back in 2020, in the before times, we planned out our MedStartr Momentum World Tour for three continents including a stop in Bogotá which had an active Health Innovation Community and my friend Dr. Nima Schei, Founder of the amazing Hummingbirds.AI. He also co-created our Healthcare Revolution 2012 event in San Fran, our first huge event outside NYC. Now, as we run our first event outside the US we are teaming up again to foment the Healthcare Revolución around the world!
Join us for a night of Panels, Pitches and Networking with the local leaders and the MedStartr Team in Medellín, Colombia. We will be livestreaming the event so register here to join virtually or come with us to Colombia if you can! Livestream will be on MedStartr.tv.
Our goal is 3-fold:
- Drive Worldwide Revolutionary Innovations in Healthcare
- Seed, Support and Synch with the Global Community of Healthcare Innovators by visiting major innovation hubs and helping grow and interconnect local communities
- Find Great Startups to Invest in and Accelerate from our funds and accelerator
Of course, we welcome new partners, sponsors and investors into our funds and programs as always, but the goal of building a community is to Drive Innovation Forward and creating a self-sustaining network for same. We have been doing this since 2008 since our founder Eugene Borukhovich started this group and inspired the development of hundreds of other Healthcare Innovation communities around the world. Now we travel the world to engage this wonderful community of like-minded crazy people around the world.
And yes, you do have to be a little nuts to think you can change how healthcare works but, in our view, you have to be crazy to not try to fix, reformulate, transform, or even tear down that which fails so many people daily.
