Avisha NessAiver, Ron Razmi, MD and I (Alex Fair) have been debating when Physicians will be replaced by robots for almost a decade - and in mine and Avi's case, helping it happen faster.) Ron wrote a book on it last year with Alex editing. Avi discusses the topic often on his very popular @DistilledScience video blogs. Both Ron and Avisha have been MedStartr Mentors, business partners and community members since 2017 when we opened our first fund. After being a member of our IC for years, Ron even got the idea to open his own fund. Avi took to the interwebs and now debunks the very creative with actual science to millions of fans on his @DistilledScience posts. But it is time to settle this issue once and for all and we thought it would be great to have a Debate. This will be our 1,268th event (40 other cities, sorry, not always home - I've actually only been home 5 days this year so far) but it is our very first in a debate format! ok, that last line is a bit disconcerting since it came from an AI, but I think it did a good job, so I'll keep it.

And therein lies the rub, so we give up control because it is better, faster and cheaper?

As we build out MedStartr.ai and use it to drive healthcare innovation faster and better, we ask this question several times a day. The answer is usually yes, but we still are the ultimate deciders... or so we think.
