Heart of the Valley Chorus

We are learning "Jeepers Creepers" to add to our repertoire in 4 part, barbershop harmony. Other songs that we know (and love) include "Lean on Me," "Can you feel the love tonight?" and "Happy Together"

This is a group for people who love to sing! You can learn vocal skills, create amazing harmonies, and have fun with friends. We are excited to continue our regular in person rehearsals this fall! We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Anyone who is interested in learning more about A Capella singing in the Barbershop style is welcome to join us. We sing a variety of music from showtunes to pop and lots of in-between.

Every week we practice our harmonizing skills and fine tune songs from our repertoire. Some of our favorite songs include, "Candle on the Water," "Crazy," and "Edelweiss."

We are always welcoming new singers to join Heart of the Valley chorus. We are a group of women and nonbinary singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony. Heart of the Valley Chorus members are not professional vocalists and are not required to read music. To join our group, it is also not necessary to have prior chorus experience. However, we strive for excellence in our singing, and we are an auditioned chorus. Our audition process is gentle, welcoming, and supportive, and we work with prospective members to make the experience enjoyable.
