This week we are going to be joined by a very special guest coach all the way from Sweden. Our rehearsal will be a little bit unusual, but this will be a great week for guests to observe and see how we work to learn and grow to improve our singing.
This is a group for people who love to sing! You can learn vocal skills, create amazing harmonies, and have fun with friends. We are excited to continue our regular in person rehearsals as we approach spring! We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Anyone who is interested in learning more about A Capella singing in the Barbershop style is welcome to join us. We sing a variety of music from showtunes to pop and lots of in-between.
We've been learning "Somebody to Love" - our newest song. And practicing many of the other songs in our 4-part harmony repertoire including songs like "Can you feel the love Tonight," "Crazy," and "Happy Together."
We are always welcoming new singers to join Heart of the Valley chorus. We are a group of women and nonbinary singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony. Heart of the Valley Chorus members are not professional vocalists and are not required to read music. To join our group, it is also not necessary to have prior chorus experience. However, we strive for excellence in our singing, and we are an auditioned chorus. Our audition process is gentle, welcoming, and supportive, and we work with prospective members to make the experience enjoyable.
