Hike at Rock Ridge Rd Green Swamp East (GSE)

We're going to Hike to the overlook & back. Starting at Rock Ridge Rd on the Florida Scenic trail. The hike will be around 7.5 miles

It will be a moderate pace, 2 - 2.5 mph. This is not a walk & not a run.

Bring at least 2 liters of water, bug spray, sun screen, hat, & good shoes.

I will start check-in at 830 am. Get there early enough to sign in as we will start right at 900am sharp.

There are no bathrooms. Closest is at Green Pond trail head for the Van Fleet trail, about 3 miles to the east of our start. It is a through the woods hike, mainly flat, some shade, some sun. There might be some wet areas, but should be able to work around them.

This is a Florida Trail Association (FTA) hike that is open to the public.
