About us
Heartsong of Friendship
An Online Multilingual Poetry Circle
"To keep friendship and hope alive in our hearts"
This is the aspiration at the core of Heartsong of Friendship.
At times, Heartsong of Friendship nourishes the seedlings and trees by becoming a heartwarming ray of sunshine, or a refreshing breeze; invigorating the sounds of the beauty of different languages to reach our ears, celebrating the expression of personal stories or poems, and cherishing the wisdom and wonder in diverse cultures and traditions.
And at times, Heartsong of Friendship becomes gentle drops of water that nourish our imagination and remind us of our connected roots — as narrators and poets, as friends, and possibly, as the characters of a shared magnificent story.
In a symbolic way, every so often, Heartsong of Friendship sows the seeds of trees whose shade becomes a space for connection and togetherness, a refuge in literature during easy and hard times, a place to find strength, inspiration, and kindness.
