What we’re about
We’ve been a book club since early 2018. We’re pretty laid back; talk about what we liked and/or disliked about the book, what we thought about the characters, the story, etc. Sometimes we’ll find discussion questions and go through them. There are times we get into deeper discussions than other times. We just love books, love to read, and enjoy getting together to talk about books. 😊
We do different genres; contemporary, historical fiction, thrillers and sometimes romance (or a mixture of these!). We take turns picking books, and are open to other genres as well!
We usually meet once a month on Sunday afternoons; typically on the third Sunday of the month, but sometimes that changes.
Some of the books we’ve read previously: The Rose Code, The Space Between Worlds, Anxious People, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, The Vanishing Half, A Man Called Ove, The Water Dancer, Stolen Things, Ten Thousand Doors of January, The Alice Network, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, Leaving Time (just to name a few).
