The central hub for Argentine Tango enthusiasts in the Heidelberg and Rhein-Neckar area.
This group serves to connect dancers, promote weekly Milongas and international events, and organize specialized workshops and Practicas. Our goal is to build a community where tango culture is active and to provide a space for people who enjoy connecting within a social dance environment. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, join us to stay informed about local events and the wider tango scene.

Free Tango Taster Class at the Castle Heidelberg
Heidelberg Castle, Schlosshof 1, 69117 Heidelberg, Heidelberg, DETry Argentine tango in a unique setting: at our free introductory class in the Königssaal of Heidelberg Castle—as part of the International Tango Summer Festival Heidelberg.
You don’t need any prior experience, and you can participate with or without a partner. We’ll show you the basics and give you a relaxed introduction to the fascinating world of Argentine tango.
Participation in the trial class is free.Afterward, you can look forward to a grand festival evening featuring the Argentine live orchestra Este Es El Rey, a tango show by the internationally renowned dance duo Carlitos Espinoza & Agustina Piaggio, and a milonga—an open tango dance evening.
A separate ticket is required for the festival evening. Participants in the introductory class can purchase the ticket at a special price of €29 per person.Register now via the registration form.

Open House Day
Intango - Tango Center Heidelberg, Mary-Somerville-Platz 5, Heidelberg, DEAt our open house, you can get to know our new studio, our team, and Argentine tango. During the free trial class, you’ll take your first steps with no obligation. You can come alone or as a couple—you don’t need to bring your own dance partner.
Even for experienced tango dancers, there’s a workshop offering fresh inspiration for their own tango. Dance performances showcase the musical and stylistic diversity of Argentine tango.
Between program items, there will be time for conversation and a relaxed opportunity to get to know one another. Beverages, coffee, and cake are available at our bar.
The open house is free from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Afterward, our milonga—the social tango dance evening—begins, with the regular admission fee.##### Program
