Free Tango Taster Class at the Castle Heidelberg

Try Argentine tango in a unique setting: at our free introductory class in the Königssaal of Heidelberg Castle—as part of the International Tango Summer Festival Heidelberg.
You don’t need any prior experience, and you can participate with or without a partner. We’ll show you the basics and give you a relaxed introduction to the fascinating world of Argentine tango.
Participation in the trial class is free.

Afterward, you can look forward to a grand festival evening featuring the Argentine live orchestra Este Es El Rey, a tango show by the internationally renowned dance duo Carlitos Espinoza & Agustina Piaggio, and a milonga—an open tango dance evening.
A separate ticket is required for the festival evening. Participants in the introductory class can purchase the ticket at a special price of €29 per person.
