What we’re about
This group is intended to help leaders, and those who aspire to become leaders, to master key skills related to leadership. The group will be based on my 40 years of experience as an executive coach and leadership development expert, that have been condensed in my new book, Bootstrap: how to succeed as a leader through self-coaching. Basically, this meetup group will give you a chance to explore self-development issues. Some of the topics covered are how to build influence in an organization, how to manage change effectively, how to focus your time and energy, and how to discover your leadership brand (even if you are not yet in a managerial position.)
I've written my book as if the two of us were having a series of coaching conversations, and I've included illustrative cases, simple exercises, and tips for advancing your career.
Bootstrap is now available for advance orders on Amazon and through Barnes & Noble (should hit Apple books soon), with a release date of Feb. 9. If you want to join and would prefer a print version I would recommend that you order early (shipping delays).
There is no cost to attend this group.
