Try out Pickleball

Pickleball, for those that haven’t played, is a relatively new game and growing in popularity. It is a sort of mix between tennis, badminton and table tennis. Its normally played by 4 people at a time. Most people can pick this sport up very quickly, regardless of whether they have played tennis before or not. I have arranged a taster session at Bovingdon tennis club on March 14th at 3.30pm for any member who would like to try this sport. This event is exclusively to “Meet Up” members in this group.
There is only one Pickleball court, so I have set an upper limit of about 6 people, with a minimum of 4. You don’t need to bring anything. I will arrange some coaching\instruction and provide balls and rackets. There will be a nominal cost of £2 per person to cover balls and refreshments such as tea and cakes. The court is outdoors so it will be weather dependent and may be cancelled if weather is raining or windy. I will make a call on this earlier on the Saturday. Please get there 10 mins before so we can organise everyone attending.
