Hello, and welcome to Her Adventure!
We are a hiking group dedicated to creating a place for women (trans and non-binary inclusive) to feel safe and comfortable exploring nature. Her Adventure began with the goal of helping folks see themselves as hikers, adventurers, and strong ass humans who can haul their bodies up and over mountains. We're here to help cultivate the journey and sense of community.
By submitting your RSVP to one of our hikes, you are agreeing that you have read and understand the Release of Liability.

Her Adventure Hike for Women--River Place Trail
River Place Nature Trail, 8820 Big View Dr, Austin, TX, USThis group hike is open and welcoming to newcomers.
About the hike:
River Place Nature Trail is a challenge 5.5 mile round trip hike. We'll start at the pond on Big View Rd. We'll hike all the way to the other end and back. Plenty of stairs along the way--come prepared for a challenge! You MUST bring at least 1 liter of water, preferably more.Note--there is a $10 fee on weekends to use this trail in a private neighborhood. Sometimes there is someone there charging and sometimes not--bring a credit card to pay the fee and we can be surprised if no one is there to collect the fee at the time.

We are Bobbie and Katy--two friends who have enjoyed spending time hiking and backpacking. We noticed that when we are in the backcountry, we don't see a whole lot of other women--probably due to a lot of factors (historical lack of representation, marketing, fear drilled into us by friends/family that the woods aren't safe, bro culture, etc). So we started Her Adventure with the goal of helping folks see themselves as hikers, adventurers, and strong ass humans who can haul their bodies up and over mountains. We're here to help cultivate the journey and sense of community.

St. Edward’s Greenbelt
St. Edward's Greenbelt, Parking lot, 7301 Spicewood Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78759, Austin, TX, USThis group hike is open and welcoming to newcomers.
About the hike: St. Edward’s Greenbelt in north Austin has some rocky trails, hills, and creek crossings. We’ll hike about 3 miles, combining the different trails there so bring good shoes and water!

We will mostly follow this route; however we may add on a bit of the Blue Trail, which has some beautiful scenery and leads to a road where we can avoid creek crossing if desired!Parking:
