McKinney Roughs has a $5 entry fee to be paid on arrival. Please arrive a few minutes early to enter the visitor center and pay. Cash and credit accepted.

This would be considered a moderate/challenging hike. It is 4.4 miles with minimal elevation gain 450 ft total. There is a variety of terrain with some waterfront and is partially shaded. It will be hot and It’s a lengthy hike so please bringg at least 1L of water or more

Let's meet at the bench pavillion to the right of thee visitor center

What to bring:
Water bottle, sunscreen, comfy hiking clothes (consider quick dry polyester due to heat), hiking shoes, your authentic self.

Optional social time:
We'll head back into Austin and meet up at Radioeast. They have 3 food trucks, coffee, beer, cocktails/mocktails

Her Adventure began with the goal of helping folks see themselves as hikers, adventurers, and strong ass humans who can haul their bodies up and over mountains. We're here to help cultivate the journey and sense of community.
