Hike for Women - Three Falls Barton Creek

Her Adventure is open and welcoming to newcomers. Katy and/or Bobbie usually arrive 15-20 min early for anyone who is new or feeling anxious, please feel free to meet us early!

Let's hike at Barton Creek Three Falls

This will be around 5 mile hike. This hike is considered moderately challenging with very little elevation gain (most at the beginning and end of the hike.) We will start at the Barton Creek Trailhead and, hike out to Hill of Life Falls and return

Please be aware that this area has a high amount of window break-ins. Do NOT leave valuables in your car. In fact the best suggestion is to have NOTHING in your car visible. I have personally had my car broken into here. When you park, don't be seen moving things around in your car, or putting things in your trunk. Bring the bare minimum.

What to bring:
Must have a water bottle with minimal 1L of water to carry. It's hot out there! You might even be tempted to jump in for a swim. Recommend wearing comfy hiking clothes and hiking shoes, tennis shoes would also be fine on this trail.

Who we are:
We are a hiking group dedicated to creating a place for women (trans and non-binary inclusive) to feel safe and comfortable exploring nature. Her Adventure began with the goal of helping folks see themselves as hikers, adventurers, and strong ass humans who can haul their bodies up and over mountains. We're here to help cultivate the journey and sense of community.
