What we’re about

We’re not going to ask you to try to be fast, clever, and funny.   We want you to be present. Every scene is a chance to notice what’s happening between you and your partner—the emotions, the point of view, the little sparks that show up in the moment. That’s where the magic lives. We treat improv as mindfulness in motion: being here, with each other, and seeing what unfolds.

At our meetups, we warm up body, voice, and imagination, then dive into exercises that explore point of view and emotional connection. From there, we play out scenes—sometimes two people, sometimes three or more—always looking for those surprising, authentic moments. This is long-form improv, which means we’re building scenes that can be both funny and dramatic, not quick games like on Whose Line Is It Anyway?
You don’t need theater chops, meditation experience, or comedy timing. Just curiosity and a willingness to jump in. Along the way, you may find improv spills into your daily life: more confidence, more playfulness, more “yes” to what’s in front of you. After all, life is one big unscripted scene.

We keep the group small—only eight spots—so everyone gets plenty of time on their feet. If you RSVP “yes,” please come (or change to “not attending” if plans change so someone else can grab your spot).

Shy? New to improv? Perfect. This space is for you. Come stretch your comfort zone, meet great people, and discover how much fun it is to create something out of nothing—together.

Adults only.
