If you are into anime and cosplaying, then you should definitely check out Otakon that is happening in D.C!

For those of you who don't know, Otakon is an annual convention at the Washington Convention Center celebrating Japanese animation and anime culture.

Some of us are planning on going this year. It's starts on Friday, July 31st and ends on Sunday, August 2nd. I will going to the Saturday, August 1st one, but you have the option of going multiple days or the whole weekend.

As far as coordinating with each other at the event, we have a chat for con visits on our Discord server. If you don't have access to the server, message me and I'll provide you with the link to the server.

Regular boba tea meetup for people to meet, make new friends, or enjoy general conversations. Great for those who are new in town or find new activities to do!

We will meet inside Ben Gong’s, and afterwards, at 9 pm, we’ll decide on dinner at a nearby restaurant that is still open. Anyone is free to join us for dinner if they like.

Regular coffee meetup for people to meet, make new friends, or enjoy general conversations with coffee. Great for those who are new in town or looking for new activities to do!

This will be held at Weird Brothers Coffee at Worldgate Centre in Herndon.

Afterwards, if anyone is interested, we can grab lunch at whichever nearby restaurant in the shopping center.

Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man returns to the big screen after 5 years since his last cinematic outing. Following the events of No Way Home, with the world now forgotten who he his, Peter Parker, still operating as Spider-Man, defends the streets of New York from street-level thugs and a potential new threat while also dealing with his superpowers undergoing a surprising evolution that could make him potentially dangerous.

This will be a crossover event with this group and the Movie Night at the DMV group.

I'll be seated in G13 for the Dolby Cinema version for the 7:30 pm showing.
