My Gambling Addicted, Alcoholic, Thief of a Husband - A Story of Great Hope
Details
Our Speaker "TB".
"My gambling addicted, alcoholic, thief of a husband left our family nearly broke. My 2 children and I were almost homeless.... Now, I have tears of joy because God intervened and solved serious problems I had not even thought about."
Please expect an emotional and hopeful evening. The Christian component of our team will be evident.
Domestic Abuse comes in many different forms: emotional, financial, alcoholism, starvation, violence, manipulation, lying, and many other forms. We have come across one lady whose husband tried to poison her. We have seen people use the legal system to abuse people.
While we are not trained professionals in this field, we all have our life experiences and previous hurts.
Our purpose is to encourage women to SPEAK UP and SPEAK OUT. This is the first step in the healing process. We want women to become HEROINES not VICTIMS.
