This group is for women who work with and love data. Our goal is to bring together women who work in data or who would like work in data - to support one another, share experiences and talk data - big or small! Whether you’re a student just embarking on a career or a seasoned data professional, this group is for you. We want to connect and inspire amazing data women with diverse expertise and experience.

Following on from our successful kickoff, more amazing women who work with data will share their inspiring career stories with us. We’ll have more great talks from women passionate about data so come along, ask questions and meet other women who love data!

Speakers:

• Kamila Szczeblewska (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kamila-szczeblewska/), Recruitment Consultant at Rullion Niche Talent, representing the brightest minds in Big Data and Data Science sector whilst supporting leading brands in their battle for the best talent. In love with human nature, inspired by the potential of human mind. Passionate about self-development, more specifically coaching.

• Leanne Fitzpatrick (https://twitter.com/LK_Fitzpatrick), Head of Analytics and Consultancy at Hello Soda. Seeks to find cutting edge insights from complex and unstructured data. Leanne is passionate about making data concepts simple to understand, and in her spare time is a keen swing dancer and American Football fan.

• Reka Solymosi (https://twitter.com/r_solymosi), Lecturer in Quantitative Methods in the School of Law at University of Manchester. Her research interests are crime analysis, R stats, new forms of data, transport, and collecting data about everyday life. She co-hosts the University of Manchester R group. In her previous role she worked as a data analyst at Transport for London focusing on transport safety and security.

• Carys Davies (https://www.linkedin.com/in/carys-davies-14956987/), Senior Associate in the Data & Analytics in Assurance team at PwC. Carys delivers practical and robust solutions to her clients through the implementation of leading technology. She has worked with clients across a broad range of industries, including financial services and utilities. She is passionate about building client relationships, providing valuable insight and helping her clients to get the best value out of their data.
