Meet Amazing Data Women & Salary Negotiation Masterclass

This group is for women who work with and love data. Our goal is to bring together women who work in data or who would like work in data - to support one another, share experiences and talk data - big or small! Whether you’re a student just embarking on a career or a seasoned data professional, this group is for you. We want to connect and inspire amazing data women with diverse expertise and experience.

At this event, we’ll have a Salary Negotiation Masterclass conducted by Bernadette Clarke of Evolution Recruitment Solutions and Francesca Crossley of Moneysupermarket Group! Join us for pizza, drinks, and to meet other women who are passionate about data!

Lightning talk speaker: Lucy Walker (https://twitter.com/LucyIWalker) is currently in the second year of her research PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University in the department of psychology. Her research interests are smoking, stress and behaviour change. She is currently investigating an appearance-based intervention for smoking in women, utilising both self-report and physiological data in order to investigate a tailored approach to smoking cessation. She is currently looking for Women aged 18-55 that smoke at least one cigarette a day to take part in her research. In conjunction with Moneysupermarket, Evolution will host a Salary Negotiation Masterclass.

Whether negotiating a salary for a promotion internally or going for a new role and negotiation your salary with a new company, we all need to feel confident when facing these conversations. Our aim will be to equip you with knowledge and information which will in turn put you in a better position when you next come to navigating a salary increase.

As always the more interactive the session, the more you will all get out of it, with this in mind please think about any scenarios you have founds yourself in, which you feel able to discuss with the group.
