HER+Data MCR is a community working to connect, inspire, support and empower the NW UK’s Women in Data. Our goal is to bring together women and non-binary people who work in data or who would like to work in data - to support one another, share experiences and talk data - big or small! Whether you’re a student just embarking on a career or a seasoned data professional, this group is for you. We want to connect and inspire amazing data women with diverse expertise and experience.

Speakers
Elisabetta Nicoli (she/her) is the Paid Search Lead at Fox Agency with nearly a decade of experience in digital marketing, having worked across a variety of industries and markets in the UK and Italy. Her career in paid media began unexpectedly, but she quickly developed a passion for the strategic and data-driven side of advertising. She has worked with clients across all sorts of verticals, from travel and real estate to e-commerce and, more recently, B2B tech. Over the last decade, she has seen the industry change massively, and her role as a paid media specialist has evolved too, requiring to adapt quickly. This has made Elisabetta question a few times whether this is still the right career for her. During the pandemic, she moved back to her home country of Italy and continued working remotely before returning to the UK and her beloved Manchester (and its rain... yes, unexpected, right?). Outside of work, Elisabetta is the proud mum of her four-legged companion Rudy, and she loves sourdough baking and spending time outdoors.

Nur Farah (she/her) is the PPC Specialist at Marsh McLennan. With over 10 years in paid search, she has worked both in media agencies and in-house teams, from setting up accounts from scratch and optimising campaigns, to leading the paid search strategy and driving brand growth.
Outside of work, she juggles life as a mum of two—one in primary school and one in secondary—balancing campaigns with family life while speaking three languages every day.

Juliana Smith (she/her) CITP MBCS is the Reporting Lead at Costain. Juliana is a multi-award-winning Chartered IT Professional with over 15 years in the tech industry, renowned for her expertise in Power BI and UI design. She creates visually impactful, accessible dashboards that drive confident decision-making, and is a sought-after international speaker for Microsoft User Groups. Juliana also shares her insights on Power BI development and accessible design through her blog and popular YouTube channel.
