June Meditation Day Retreat – Awareness is Revolutionary
Free of charge – suitable for all
Sunday 14th June, 10am-4pm

Meditation is a path of inner transformation centred on two powerful qualities: awareness and kindness. By cultivating these, we begin to meet our experience more fully, moment by moment, learning to be with ourselves just as we are. In this way, awareness becomes something genuinely radical — a quiet but profound shift away from habitual reactivity towards clarity, kindness, and greater freedom.
This day retreat offers an opportunity to explore how meditation can be a truly radical practice in everyday life.
We’ll be doing periods of meditation and related practices based on the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana (the cultivation of loving-kindness), along with teaching, and time to reflect in pairs or small groups. There will also be space for questions and shared exploration throughout the day.
The day is open to all adults, regardless of previous experience. Please bring food to share for a vegetarian/vegan lunch. Teas and coffee provided.
There is no charge (donations on the day will be welcome).
