EASY & SUPER FUN NAPA RIVER FOREST KAYAK PADDLE THRU DOWNTOWN & MORE !

It's time to hit the Napa river adventure again . It;s been a long time.

****READ CAREFULLY : This is a tidal river. Tides come in & out twice in 24 hours. Since the downtown area has new docks & other amenities ; Parking & getting there is almost too easy & convenient .
**** We will arrive at 10;30 or a bit sooner at the docks, Launch time is around 11:00 am.
**** What to bring: light jacket, towel, water shoes or old sneakers, sun screen, hat, sun glasses, shorts or long pants. also a draw string or other suitable bag to store things & keep them dry.
**** This is a beginners paddle up river into the forest. Down river can be choppy & wider. We will see Herons, Egrets, otters, birds of prey , & other wildlife ! Years ago while having lunch on the shore a giant Sturgeon jumped out of the river close to us. A great sight !
I will tell you more of past adventures on the river.
****I will have snacks & water & other drinks included. It will be hard to choose a location for our lunch, as there are so many options.
**** After our paddle & Late lunch , we can tour all the cool places in Napa on both sides of the river.** Either bring a lunch or bring it if we decide to stop at a restaurant. (So many choices) You may not want to go home yet, as there is so many options to see & enjoy ***Note: The kayaking time ends between 1:30 & 2:oo pm.
*****Parking is in the free garage about 150 ft from the put in docks. At 5th & Brown street corner . ( Or 1100 5th st.) (5th & Brown is where the garage exit is.) **** Walk across 5th thru passage way & past the restaurants to the docks at the river) (Very easy to find).
***** NOTE: the fee for the whole day is only$75 . Napa is not cheap!
