About us

Highly Sensitive Connections is a place for highly sensitive people (HSPs) to meet each other in real life, build friendships and experience the relief of being with people who understand something of how it feels to move through the world with a more sensitive nervous system.

The aim is simple: to help HSPs find each other.

Some events will be organised by HSPconnect, our international community for highly sensitive people, and others will be organised by HSPconnect members who want to bring HSPs together in their own local area.

Who do we want to meet?

Anyone who identifies as a highly sensitive person, or is exploring whether they might be one, is very welcome.

You might be someone who loves depth, meaningful conversation, nature, creativity and close connection, but who can also find busy environments, superficial socialising or large groups exhausting.

You do not need to be especially outgoing or confident to come along. Many people come to our meetups on their own, so if you do too, you certainly won’t be the only one — and you’ll be very welcome. Many HSPs find walking into a new group daunting, so we aim to create gatherings where it is easier to settle in, talk to a few people at a time and get to know each other naturally.

What will we do at our events?

Events will vary. There will be in-person gatherings in London, as well as meetups organised by HSPconnect members in other areas.

You might find small social gatherings, walks, coffee meetups, shared meals, discussion groups, workshops or occasional larger HSP events.

Where possible, we will create plenty of opportunities for conversation in pairs and small groups rather than expecting people to mingle in a large room.

At the heart of it is connection: meeting other highly sensitive people, sharing experiences, making friends and creating a greater sense of belonging.

Find each other. Support each other. Create belonging.
