The Kelso Klimb: Sweat, Sighs, and Special Dispensations 🏔️
Details
Gear up, team. On Saturday, May 30th, we are tackling The Kelso Klimb: Reach the Sky Hike.
Is it a climb? Absolutely. Will it challenge your glutes and your dignity? Definitely. As we push up the Niagara Escarpment, you will sweat, you will grunt, and—let’s be honest—you may even accidentally test your internal exhaust system. But I promise you’ll be smiling once we conquer the summit.
The Nitty-Gritty:
- Start promptly at 9:30
- Distance: A solid 10 km loop.
- Difficulty: Level 2.5 (Comfortably uncomfortable).
- Survival Gear: Bring plenty of water and snacks unless you plan on foraging.
Parking (The VIP Treatment): Because you guys are with me, I have used my immense charm to secure special dispensation from a local farm owner. We get free parking right in the driveway of a private farm. I will open the gate.
📍 Where: 8660 Appleby Line, Milton, ON L0P 1B0

Carpool please, ask and you shall receive.
The Après-Hike Reward: To instantly replace all those hard-burned calories, we’ll be hitchen a ride over to Toss Thai in Milton. It was voted the absolute best Thai restaurant in the entire town. (Granted, it’s also the only Thai restaurant in the town, but let’s not let logistics ruin a good accolade).
📍 Where: 1120 Steeles Ave. East, Milton, ON

It’s going to be literally and figuratively an uplifting experience. Are you in? Let me know.
