We’re all about easy to challenging hikes, scenic walks, and the occasional camping escape. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned trekker, this group is about building a friendly, ego-free, and welcoming community that loves nature and good company. Leave your egos at the trailhead, bring your good vibes, and get ready to make real connections. Come for the views, stay for the community– everyone’s welcome!
Please note: This is a volunteer-led group. The host and organizers are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or losses during events. Everyone is responsible for their own safety, fitness level, and preparedness. By joining, you acknowledge that you participate at your own risk.
While the organizer will make every effort to clearly describe the difficulty level of each event, it is the participant’s responsibility to research the trail, assess their own readiness, and come prepared with proper gear, food, water, and awareness of weather or trail conditions.

Mount Seymore, 1700 Mount Seymour Road, Vancouver, BC, CA

Join Hike Walk Camp BC for a scenic hike to Pump Peak, one of the three iconic peaks on Mount Seymour. This hike offers spectacular panoramic views of Vancouver, Burrard Inlet, Indian Arm, and the surrounding Coast Mountains. It's a great choice for hikers looking for a moderate challenge and an enjoyable day outdoors with a friendly group.
About the Hike:

  • Trail: Pump Peak via Mount Seymour Trail
  • Distance: Approximately 7 km round trip
  • Elevation Gain: Approximately 455 m
  • Difficulty: Moderate - Hard
  • Duration: 3–4 hours including breaks

Location: Mount Seymour Provincial Park
Start Time: 9:00 AM (Please arrive 10 minutes early.)
Important – Limited Group Size

  • Maximum 15 participants only.
  • If you RSVP, please commit to attending.
  • If your plans change, update your RSVP at least 48 hours before the hike.
  • Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in removal from the group.

What to Expect

What to Bring

  • Hiking shoes or boots with good grip
  • At least 1.5 L of water
  • Snacks or lunch
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Extra layer, as temperatures at higher elevations can be cooler
