WHAT TO EXPECT
A welcoming, social hike at a steady group pace with water, snack, photo, and lunch breaks. Expect roots, rocks, mud, slippery surfaces, and wet autumn weather. This is a long forest hike, so please be comfortable walking 14 km on uneven ground. We stay on the signed route, respect park closures, keep back from slippery waterfall edges, and pack out everything we bring.
No egos and no detours. We start together and finish together.
The hike depends on safe weather and trail conditions. Check the latest park advisories and this event before leaving home. The host may change, shorten, postpone, or cancel the hike if conditions are unsafe. We will not cross unsafe water or enter closed trails.
WHAT TO BRING
• Hiking boots or trail shoes with good grip
• Water (about 2 litres, adjusted to your needs), lunch, snacks, and extra food
• Waterproof jacket, warm layers, and spare dry clothing
• Headlamp with spare batteries, whistle, small first-aid kit, and emergency blanket
• Charged phone, offline trail map, and personal essentials
• Trekking poles if useful; any prescribed medication you may need

RSVP POLICY
Please RSVP only if you intend to attend. If plans change, update your RSVP at least 48 hours before the event so someone else can join. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in removal from the group.
