Kaleetan Peak

Join for an early-season climb of Kaleetan Peak via Alpental. This is a alpine route with incredible views of the Snoqualmie Pass area, combining forest approach, snow travel, and a steep final push to the summit.
We will be moving through winter conditions in the upper mountain, so participants should be comfortable on snow and prepared for a full mountain day.

• 6,224 ft peak near Snoqualmie Pass
• 12 miles roundtrip
• 4,500 ft elevation gain
• Long approach via Snow Lake and Melakwa Lake
• Parking Pass/Entry Fee - Northwest Forest Pass or Sno-Parks Permit

Required Gear:

• Ice axe
• Crampons
• Helmet
• Mountaineering boots or rigid hiking boots for crampons
• Layers for winter conditions
• Food + 2–3L water
• Navigation (GPS/map)
• Trekking poles
• Goggles (wind/snow protection)
